Packaging and logo design explorations for Matsbar, an energy bar named after it’s founder, Matthew. The client wanted to keep the square size of their current bar. The idea: use historic sports photos to visually connect Matsbar with energy, fun and a bit of nostalgia. Designs include logo options and word icons (gluten free, hand made, etc.) that could be used separately on social media, signage, etc.
Just finished this logo for the Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum’s upcoming exhibit titled Slope Style. The exhibit will feature a variety of ski and snowboard fashions from the 1930s to today. Vermont-based clothing and outdoor gear designer Poppy Gall (founder of Isis for Women) is the creative force behind this exhibit; she asked that I use this fashion drawing of a woman from the late 1940s as part of the logo. I worked in color and type treatments to reflect design popular during of this era. Opening party is December 5th!
New pizzerias are popping up all over Vermont these days, including Fire Tower Pizza at the Elmore Store in Elmore, VT. Partnering with well-known baker Elmore Mountain Bread (who makes the melt-in-your mouth crust) Fire Tower Pizza has a great local following, and a view across Lake Elmore to the fire tower on Elmore Mountain. While we’re still working out the details, here are some of the logos presented. (Fire tower image on moon provided by owners.)
